My somewhat unpopular opinion is that Jerry Ordway's Superman was better than Byrne's. Nice piece.

Looking back the Superman books had a pretty incredible run of artists in the 80s-90s... from Bryne and Perez to Ordway and Jurgens... and you can keep going with Bogdanove, Gammill, Grummett, etc.
