DescriptionIn keeping the Moon Knight train rolling this week, I'd like to show the cover to Moon Knight #11! Our hero, in ever dire straits, sits helplessly in the figurative grasp of the villainous Zodiac! Once again Cory Smith delivers a sensational piece of art (all his stuff is great if you ask me) and there's so much to appreciate about this cover that I don't even know where to start!Social/Sharing |

I've always loved the "man trapped inside the hourglass" trope, and this one may be the best I've ever seen! So beautifully designed, rendered and executed. You can actually feel the weight of the sand as it falls onto Moon Knight! Really cool, man, congrats!

There's something to be said about an artist who can convey this much emotional content when both figures have all of their facial features hidden from view. Highly impressive!

Beautiful hourglass cover with the amazing feel of desperation and peril for our hero. The Cory Smith linework is as exciting as the greatest from Moon Knight's past artists.

Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of our lives. :CueDramaticSoapOperaMusic: One of my favorite comic tropes...the character drowning in an hourglass. Does it ever not make a cool image? (I have a Perez Teen Titans with much the same image). The inking is especially nice, too. Super cool Moon Knight cover. Congrats!

Hard to see where the title could be placed, this image is jam packed from top to bottom. Congrats.

Smith keeps getting better and better and some great examples of that are these recent MK covers! Super effective scene setting here, with killer illustration to match. Congrats!
