Description

Grabbed this at Albert Moy's booth at San Diego, 2001, preview night. When I brought it over to Mignola's booth Saturday to ask him to sign it, at first he seemed annoyed I was keeping him from taking a break. But when I pulled the piece from the portfolio his eyes lit up, and he exclaimed, "Wow. That's some page!" I dumbly agreed. He then told me this was the most difficult story he'd ever tried to illustrate as it tells the story of a city from the city's POV. Ray Bradbury wrote the story--he'd been at SD earlier, but I missed him. Rats. Posting it today (6.6.12) in memory of Mr. Bradbury, RIP.

I am totally looking for a page from this story, because it is one of my favorite Bradbury stories. A dark ending and a potential neverending cycle! Congrats!!!
