DescriptionIt’s very fitting that this is a moonlit cover, because we’re officially in “pinch me, I’m dreaming” territory here.As with his Spider-Woman run, there’s wasn’t much traditionally-drawn artwork produced for Moon Knight; the interiors were all digital and he only had “some covers” (his words) that were done traditionally (unless I misunderstood). Frankly, I’m beyond stunned to have this… And it’s HUGE. 14x20 full-moon-fever, has-its-own-gravity, lycanthropic, tidal-event-triggering, fake-a-moon-landing-on-it inches full of ink and wash and paint and tones and passion and it all falls squarely into the “no scan or photo can do it justice” camp. My dog saunters into the room, takes one look, and starts to howl. I do, too. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine this nighttime traveller would find its way home to me. Thank you, Asad! This is a real beauty and like how we are seeing quite a few characters that he copies represented (1 from each main territory), Wolverine's claws (X-Men) on the left, Spider-Man's web hand (Spider-verse) on the right and standing firm on Captain America's (Avengers) shield. Lots to live and admire in this really well done cover.

The big one. Congrats Jason, that's quite a cover to get from a rare artist (in terms of quality published originals). And Bendis is never that far away as far as you are concerned ;)

I really love the line work on the figure and that blacks and grays in the background! But is this really the Super Skrull? Why does he have Wolverine and Spider-Man arms? Now I don't know which one of those heroes to root for! Plus, they're all stepping on Cap! What is going on here?!? Man, I feel like I need to take a nap from al lthe confusion this imagery has caused me, but before I do, let me bid you a fine Olé, Toro, Olé!

Jason! What an addition to your amazing collection. This cover shows Maleev at the absolute peak of his talent. This is an amazing cover, with great figurework and masterful use of ink washes. It must be a sight to behold! Big congratulations, my friend!

You may have to change the title to MoonThief as he has apparently stolen other heroes stuff, including a set of Woverine claws. I expect he was killed by a small, angry Candadian in the issue? R.I.P 'MoonThief.'

This is a grail piece for sure. Maleev is arguably one of the best artists to ever work on this character and owning one of his originals for his run on him is insane! congrats

Wow! Fabulous Moon Knight #1 cover by the great Alex Maleev! What a gorgeous ink wash painting of the Fist of Khonshu! Congratulations on picking up this beauty. It appears that Moon Knight has found his home at last.

HUGE congrats, man! I know this hits grail level territory for you, and not hard to see why. Love the pose, in that he's facing straight at the reader (though with that subtle tilted perspective) and that it facilitates showing off the other Marvel hero pieces. COOL way to showcase MK's uniqueness in the MU. And what a nice mix of exact lines and ink wash...Maleev a real master in that regard. And must look that much better on a board that big! Congrats on hitting a real target!
