Description

So you weren't aware that Chris Sprouse can draw the absolute best gorillas? Did you sleep through Tom Strong? He sells his art off of a blog which he doesn't always keep perfectly up to date because he has more important things to do - like creating great art. So I spy this splash panel on there thinking that surely this has already been snapped up by someone. Nope. Holy Cow! If you're feeling like a schmuck because you didn't beat me to it, well, you kind of should. I've not framed it yet because I was hoping to catch Ta Nahisi Coates at a book signing so he could sign it too. Of course with the pandemic that's not going to happen any time soon.

Oh yeah, self schmuckness running high :) I must've just spaced out looking into it cuz I thought it was a killer image when I read the book. BP vs. his many foes! Nice rendering with them clean Sprouse/Story lines and the worm's eye perspective shot really adds to the bigness of the image! Sincere congrats - now lemme go check Sprouse's site out :)
