Description

Featured is an original piece of John Bolton Monster Club art on board. The strip featured in 1980 The Monster Club Canes Film festival promo magazine and later in the 1983 Hammer Halls of Horror Magazine issue #26. I purchased the art directly from the great man himself John Bolton & wife/business manager Liliana. I asked her if he could inscribe the page in ink for me and he did. A true gentleman & lady. Better still, both sent me a signed 'Monster Club' softback book that they had in their archive which were given to John Bolton by his publisher and a super-rare multi-signed 'Gaslight Ghosts and Ghouls' hardback book in slipcase ltd Ed to only 26 copies in the world. Both John & Liliana are extremely kind & generous people. Can't praise them high enough.

Cheers friend for the kind words. Yeah, the story is superb. Coincedentally, on buying the art from John and his lovely wife Lilian, also located the Hammer Hall of Horror Magazine #26 from 1983 too that featured John Bolton's Monster Club strip. It's thrilling to see the page in print that I now own. :)

Thanks for reply. Yes, I agree. I love how he puts individual personalities into the Monsters drawn, if that makes any sense? At present got six John Bolton pages on board with another two pending. And when they are finally secured will upload all. 🙂
