Description

Here's another superb page of signed Lew Stringer "Tom Thug, The Brainless Bully" Buster comic art. The page appeared in the issue dated the 20th March 1993. The art is on Bristol board, measures around 372mm x 476mm,has a clear acetate speech bubble overlay and is painted using black and coloured inks.

Baggy clothes were a big thing in the early 90's! So were the pants that were too big and hung low behind so people can check out the brand on the elastic band of your underwear.

Hi Marcus. Yeah the Tom Thug strip reflected society and its fashions. I've often had sleepless nights pondering this very same question. Either clothes were big or the people small, or both. I know haircuts were massive. So much hairspray too. No wonder the Ozone had a hole in it. And don't talk about lipgloss used. Can you imagine if women did similar? 😲
