Top tier Ron Frenz cover commission! Using the Silver Age Ditko trade dress tells us the era is of the spry Peter/Spidey against one of his original villains in Kraven. The introduction of Puma is handled well as he would fit into the zoological menagerie of rogues. All happening when Peter walks down the wrong brick alley.

While cover recreations can be fun, the reality is that they are done so frequently that they become somewhat boring at times. That's why I find reinterpretations like this so much more exciting. It gives the artist a chance to flex their creative muscles, as it's the same as being commissioned by the publisher to produce a new cover. But for the collector, it's an opportunity to not only get a new cover which is unique, but also one that still comes with a certain amount of nostalgic feelings attached, since the reinterpreted image is based off of a very familiar one. Frenz did a bang up job with this one, congrats!
