One of the best Frazetta pieces that has ever come to market. It was fun watching you catch this one. Congratulations on a momentous win Tom. Absolutely beautiful!

One of the most memorable and striking nudes by the master! And I'm forced to admit: I've always imagined to see the scene with the eyes of that lucky dog of a caveman :) Congrats and thanks for sharing!

Congrats! That hung on my wall for many years before I let it go some years back. It is a wonderful prime period Frazetta!

A perfect Frazetta. The kind of piece you can own and not need for another.

A few years back, I was looking through the Heritage archives and came across this piece - which sold at a seemingly low price (I thought, though I'm sure the bidders at the time didn't). I was completely blown away - it became my favorite Frazetta ink piece of all time. So glad you ended up with it Tom - fits in with the rest of your tasteful collection! Congrats!

Call me crazy; but I think the caveman steals the show! Congrats, and thanks for sharing!

The way Frazetta indicated the woman's hair in this masterpiece is absolutely amazing. As you must know, he drew the caveman years after the female, so you can sample the subtleties of different periods of his inking style in one phenomenal drawing. What a perfect Frazetta example

Exquisite and beautiful inks. Congrats Tom on a wonderful acquisition. One day, I hope to find a nice Frazetta pen and ink too.

I now fully understand why you needed to raise additional funds for this piece. I am not a big Frazetta fan, but I can definitely appreciate this piece being a truly representative sample from his body of work. Congratulations!

One of the most finest pen and ink pieces I've seen and one of my fave Frazetta pieces, it's easily on my top 5.

You can have my Bolland Judge Anderson page for this. You are getting a bargain. This has dirt and coffee stains and the backgrounds not finished. Lol.

Wow! An utterly amazing illustration by the legendary Frank Frazetta! To me, the drawing here is so powerful that it closes the gap between commercial art and fine art. It's not commercial art, it's just art.

Yeah....that's amazing. When I see Frazetta drawings like this, I shudder to think of all of the ink works that we missed out on by his decision to move toward oil paintings. While I acknowledge the importance and unmatched level of greatness of his many paintings, I definitely connect with his drawings and comic art on a completely higher level. This drawing leaves me in awe. Congratulations to you!

A masterpiece. Frank was showing me how to ink like this at his home many years ago. He would thin out his ink till it was a dark grey and watery and then do the feathering, telling me not to worry, it will print black anyway. Love this piece. Congrats.

Just recently picked up the large Frazetta coffee table book (Taschen had a 50% off sale) and noticed a very familiar image as I was flipping through it. So I thought I'd pop by your gallery and pay homage (as I had sacrilegiously failed to do so in the past). As someone who would be honored to see this in person at least once in his lifetime, I can only imagine what it's like to be able to do that every single day. Absolutely phenomenal piece.

Absolutely! I don't know why, but I sort of get this feeling that if you and I ever sat down together, we could talk for at least 2 straight hours before we even looked at a piece of art. Haha! That could make for a very long day in terms of seeing each other's collections. Still, if you are ever in the SF bay area, you have a standing invitation. Now get off your computer and go enjoy that Frazetta masterpiece some more! God knows if that were mine, that's certainly what I'd be doing. LOL
