Oh man, this takes me back. Wasn't this originally in, or on the back cover of a fanzine from the seventies. As I recall there were some pink hues on this when published. Dave did a good job of showing depth by separation the amount of detail from Kong to Fay wray.

Actually, Bennett, this fab cover was created by Dave in 1990 specifically for a King Kong 6-issue comic adaptation that was published in that year (Dave only did the cover to issue #1). A limited signed and numbered print was also made available at that time and is relatively hard to come by. Take care, Tom.

It may be a sin, but right now I'm very envious!! One of my favorite pieces from my favorite artist!! I have the limited print hanging on my wall, ah but to have the original. Congratulations!!!!!
