DescriptionMickey Mouse in the "Sorcerer's Apprentice" segment of FANTASIA, showing him wearing the Sorcerer's hat with white stars and crescent moons while sleepily conjuring the brooms to carry buckets of water. Accomplished in watercolor on a black 8.75 x 6.75 board. Featuring a closeup of Mickey with a great expression on his face having clothes detailed and shadows highlighted. Animation Supervisor Fred Moore had added pupils to Mickey's eyes for the first time. Framed under glass to 12.5 x 17.5. This scene was animated by Preston Blair.Social/Sharing |

All time classic! Msny years ago I bought a color storyboard of Sorcerer Mickey on top of the mountain directing the stars, but alas long gone!
