DescriptionGlad to have a great Tank Girl example by Jamie Hewlett. This piece was a back cover to the US release and a pinup originally. Looks like lots of different materials were used including pen/ink, markers, gouache/watercolor.Love the atmosphere of the piece. The rain, colors, and cute, mischievous way Tank Girl appears with Booga looking on from the tank in the background. Special thanks to Rufus Dayglo for hooking me up with this wonder. This piece was first used as a single page return of Tank Girl preview pinup in the February 1992 Deadline Magazine. Since then it's been used in various reprints and collections as a cover. OK! This is awesome. I know how hard Tank Girl art by Hewlett is to find and something like this is a real treasure. Congratulations.

Cool atmospheric effects, yes. And great composition with the figures opposed laterally to the horizontal orientation. (Jesus, I sound like a geometry teacher.)
