Description

Lan Medina was one of the first artists that I commissioned when I was first starting collecting art decades ago, so I was excited when he recently worked on Cap again with Straczynski as the writer... I love the way Medina draws and uses ink washes to render a young Steve back in 1938 in this page, attending a pro-Nazi rally and eventually speaking up against it as only Steve could... So excited to be able to get this one and a couple of other pages from his run!

I was admiring these on the website! Lan is so good on these pages with the pre-cap Steve Rogers. He's not squared jawed, nor powerful, but that makes him more courageous in the face of evil!

Nice work! I've always enjoyed Medina's art, throughout all the different stylistic changes.

Nice pre-Cap Steve Rogers page by Lan! Even before he had the physical strength he had a strong sense of humanity and whats right.
