Description

Another great name at this year's FACTS Spring Edition in April 2025 was Michael Gaydos. While I really like his work on "Alias", the Jessica Jones co-creator was not my first stop regarding a commission. He did deliver great value for a great price, but sometimes choices have to be made.

Luckily, I spotted this piece in his portfolio. Michael did some great pencil drawings for an extremely low price point. There were quite a few, but this one spoke to me...

The choice to use purple is inspired, knowing how important that color is for Jessica Jones. The solemn expression builds so much on that, if we think about all the things Jessica went through. To me, this piece truly personifies the whole emotional layer of the character. Size is A4.

The purple is a nice choice with the trauma caused by the Purple Man.
