DescriptionBeing a Spidey fan, Bob McLeod has always been high on my list of artists to eventually get a piece from. Unfortunately for non-US collectors, he usually sticks to lists or shows inside the United States. That's where a representative and friend came in, who helped Bob at a show in the US a few months ago.I decided to go pretty much all-out: two full figures. The choice was easily made, as I'll always link Bob to Spidey in his black suit during his 80s adventures, prominently featuring Black Cat. Unfortunately, some miscommunication happened, as I wanted an unmasked Spidey & a more loving pose, highlighting their relationship. The first, Bob managed to fix. The latter not so much. It's still a very cool and dynamic commission, with some almost negative space inking on Spidey. This one was done in pencils & inks on a 9x12 board. Social/Sharing |
