Description

Arkham Manor #05 (2015) original cover art for "These Walls Must Hold". This is the 5th issue in the 6-issue mini-series stemming from events in Batman Eternal 30 where the Spectre destroyed Arkham Asylum. This was the first cover from this series that I purchased, and it still honestly may be my favorite. Shawn has taken a surreal and almost hallucinogenic approach to much of the art in the series, and this cover really hits a homerun. What isn't to like about an angry giant Batman head wreaking havoc on Wayne Manor (aka Arkham Manor)? I fell in love the first time I laid eyes on it, and it was an instant buy for me.

The art was digitally penciled and hand inked / brushed over printed blue lines by Shawn Crystal and is on 11"X17" art board. Signed by Shawn to the right of Batman's head.
