DescriptionWhile my prime goal for FACTS Spring 2019 when Giuseppe Camuncoli was announced, was a picture, signatures and some polishing on my Amazing Spider-Man piece, I couldn't pass up the chance to commission a Darth Vader.Giuseppe only took a few requests, and was debating if he'd have time, since he was already working on my Spider-Man, but told me that he'd get it done. I was fortunate enough to see this come to life right before my eyes and it was such an experience. Cammo really is an artist's artist and pays attention to such amazing details. He used up to four different techniques in this piece, just to get the lighting the way he wanted it. I absolutely love the shine in Vader's helmet here, so many intricate details in this piece. The choice for Darth Vader can be explained due to my love for Camuncoli's work on the Marvel series of the same name with Charles Soule. Size is 9x12. Not easy to get an original inked Camu piece too, so this is a big score for me. Social/Sharing |
