Description

During the spring of 2020, I commissioned oil paintist John Febonio to do an oil painting of Luke Skywalker from "Dark Empire" for me. I had recently re-read the series, after being disappointed with the new sequel movies, & wanted something to honour Cam Kennedy.

The painting had to have three elements for me: Luke Skywalker (preferably with his lightsaber); the purple alien backdrop; and of course the blue sky with Palpatine's Force lightning. And John definitely delivered.

Size is 11x17, done on a sturdy masonite board.
