It's interesting how one sometimes could take JB's work on the X-Men for granted. But when pieces like the ones from this issue emerge, one has simply to accept that JB's work in the late '70s and early '80s was among the absolute best created in the medium. Huge congrats!

WOW! For me, this is the pinnacle of comic book art. I can't imagine how impactful it would have been to pick this comic up out of the spinner rack. So glad that you kept the 3 pages together. Congrats!

Brilliant Byrne/Austin X-Men page! Everything about this page is fabulous! The storytelling is so cleay. The scenes are all composed perfectly. And the action in first rate! I especially love those bottom three panels from the perfectly drawn shot of Wolvie about to slash Cyclops to the SHZRAK! as Cyc zaps Logan to the KBRASH! as Wolvie lands in the trees beyond. That sound you hear is my hands clapping.
