Description

Three Mickey Mouse dailies from 1945. These were cut up and re-assembled at the Disney Studio in 1945 for use in Walt Disney's Comics and stories. Rescued by an employee at the studio. Stuff like this is not supposed to exist. But this page apparently does. :)

Truly amazing! Three dailies from Gottfredson's peak period, never seen by any expert. IMO, the elegance of the early-to-mid fourties is unsurpassed. Part of my "100 pieces of original comic art to see before you die" list. Wow!
