DescriptionSpecial thanks to Frank at Aspen for this one! This is my little piece of contemporary comic book history. This piece conveys the emotional frustration that Batman had during this series when it was approaching its conclusion. The amazing thing about Turners art is that although he can brilliantly depict the strength and heroism of a character better than most, he as well matters the art of showcasing pain and vulnerability. I hope someday to own the companion piece - Identity Crisis 5 cover featuring a grieving Robin… but if I had my choice, this would be the one to own. Just color me envious!

Definitely a memorable modern cover from one of the key series in recent years. Nice!
