A nice color cartooning cover gag bringing to light the idea of solar panels in those early days of the technology.

And the sun tax had not yet arrived in Spain...

The sun tax is a tax that forced self-consumption users to pay for being connected to the electricity grid. A person who installed a solar panel for self-consumption had to pay a fee to help maintain the electrical system.

Y todavía no había llegado a España el impuesto al sol, la tasa que obligaba a los usuarios del autoconsumo a pagar por estar conectado a la red eléctrica.

Una persona que instalaba una placa solar para autoconsumo debía abonar una tasa para contribuir a mantener el sistema eléctrico.
