Ilustraci�n original de la portada de "El Regimiento" (Random House Publishing Group, 1979). Magn�fico retrato de una mujer rodeada de elementos visuales militares brit�nicos, probablemente creado para esta novela rom�ntica de bolsillo de C.L. Skelton.
Grafito sobre cartulina Bristol con un �rea de imagen de 21,5 x 35,5 cm. Cinta adhesiva opaca en la esquina inferior izquierda que oculta un peque�o grupo de soldados. Pliegue horizontal en el centro de la ilustraci�n para su conservaci�n. Ligero desgaste por manipulaci�n y arrugas marginales. Firmado. En muy buen estado.

The Regiment Cover Original Art (Random House Publishing Group, 1979). By modern Spanish master, Enric, a very nice portrait of a woman surrounded by British military visual elements, created for a C.L. Skelton romance paperback novel. Rendered in pure graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 8.5" x 14".
Opaque adhesive tape in the lower left corner hiding a small group of soldiers. Horizontal fold across the center of the illustration for storage. Light handling wear and marginal creasing. Signed. In Very Good condition.

Very captivating stare to beckon the audience! This has all the elements of a period drama look of the 70's paperback cover and done with the Spanish illustrative flair of Enric.

Spanish illustrators were in demand by publishers all over the world at that time thanks to the commercial work of Josep Toutain and his agency "Selecciones Ilustradas" - the golden age of Spanish comics!
