Description

in my early teens i�d cut out the #flashgordon strips/sundays in the daily newspapers, which were illustrated by two under appreciated artists�#danberry and #bobfujitani;

dan�s and bob�s illustrations had the narrative poignancy, fluidity and energy like those of their more admired contemporaries #alwilliamson and #graymorrow; in fact, the former artists� fine, feathery line styles closely resembled those latter contemporaries;

from november 16, 1983, this strip is a fine example of dan�s penciling and bob�s inking depicting action, drama and a slew of #alexraymond�s character creations dating as far back as the 1930s: flash, dr. zarkov, dale, and queen azura; plus some dragons and an arborian guard;

this is my first oa purchase from ebay from a helpful seller in the oregon area;

Monsters, treasure, scantily clad space ladies and more sci-if fantasy elements captivated the audiences! Berry and Fujitani's illustrative work brought these visions to life to constantly delight on a regularly determined schedule.
