DescriptionFor tonight's Ladies Week post, I'm back to Marvel with a battle between Elektra and the man who originally killed her, BULLSEYE!This is one of my favorite kinds of double page splashes/spreads. You have that big splashy image that covers both pages, but then you also get smaller inset panels with more battle action that come before and after that central image. You get splash + story. And in this instance, the central image (Elektra kicking Bullseye) is the moment where the advantage shifts to Elektra. Mike Deodato draws an amazing Elektra -- beautiful and deadly. That leggy Elektra goes full extension with a mighty thrust kick right in the solar plexus. Bullseye might have won in DD 181, but this rematch is now in her title and Deodato has her fire off brutal strikes with bad girl precision!

Where do you find all these wonderful pieces?!?! Man, this is killer stuff! Both of these characters are lifelong loves of mine, so to get a superb DPS like this with both of them locked in combat, by Deodato no less, is jaw dropping!

Now that is how you kick the smile off of someone's face. That last kick about to come looks like a doozy, too. She's doing the comic book flip around wind-up, so you know it's going to be KA-THOOM! level. What a sweet DPS. Big congrats!

The classic matchup reimagined! Deodato really made a name for himself on this series and big powerful action shots like this are why. No choice but to give this image the DPS treatment. Congrats!
