DescriptionOnce I discovered Paul's work I went and consumed all that I could from it, which at the time wasn't that much - THB, Dr. Richardson, and Escapo. He's rough, organic, fluid style is so appealing to me so I'm happy to (again) have a piece of art from one of his personal works. Quite happy with my other Pope example too...Not to just name drop the best rep out there, but thanks to Felix for the purchase. Keepin' it classy and raising the bar for all! Social/Sharing |

I tried looking at this, but all I see is an error page saying, "You're not cool enough."

Amazing poster art for one of Pope's earlier works that spoke a lot of his evolution as an artist. The graphic design sensibilities on this playing with light vs darkness and man vs machine, is kinetically presented.

Love the energy on this, a firey birth/escape. I have never read Escapo, but everytime I see Paul's art on it reminds me that I need to pick it up. Congrats Simon!

Did this get published before Venom Vol. 4 #3? Has a very similar vibe.

I think the date in the bottom corner is 2014 so while I don't know the Venom image you speak of, I'm guessing this came first...

Not a lot of Escapo art out there Espeically at this level and with him getting out of a trap! Contrats this is a wall power piece.

Wow! What an amazing poster image! The visualization of birth as an escape is mind-bending! Paul Pope is one of the most inventive and talented artists out there! Great pick-up!
