DescriptionSpidey Week continues with this stunning image of Spider-Man perched on the tippy-top of a telephone pole in the suburbs with a HUGE full moon behind him. Love the detail in the houses below (and the falling leaves makes it feel very autumnal -- you can almost feel the chill in the air).I have become a big fan of Patrick Scherberger over the years, and grabbing this piece made me very very happy. (Thanks, PA!) Amazing Spider-Man #700 was such a major event in Spidey's history, that Marvel decided to keep the party going with issues 700.1-700.5. It's kind of like when you expand your birthday 'day' to a birthday 'week' ... or month! Or like me taking National Spider-Man Day (Aug 1) and expanding it to a week. Or a month! Why not?!? Never quench the fun! Social/Sharing |

I love that he's perched on the electric pole in the suburbs! Reminds me of that single issue story in the 80's that focused on the difficulties of being Spidey in the 'burbs. Great stuff!

Love Patrick's Spidey! It's the teenage Spider-Man I grew up on!

(Deep sigh)...
This is one cover I use to check out on Spencer's site after it sold and always wondered where it was. I think I need a premium pass to view your full collection for the sake of my sleepless nights. But seriously, huge congrats on this beauty!

Great cover! Strange to see Spidey without a web. Congrats, Paul

Nice example of Patrick's Spidey! I too have really come to like his unique rendition! Cartoony, detailed, and there's no question it's Patrick's Spidey when you see it. Worthy addition to Spidey week, Paul. Congrats!
