DescriptionAlways super excited to add another Scherberger Spidey cover to my collection, and this one has so much going on.You get a great big Mysterio manipulating Spidey like a puppet, but instead of strings, it's webs. (Very Spidey appropriate). There is also all that great swirling smoke that permeates the entire image, and then to top it off, a great cityscape background. The level of detail here is really phenomenal, and it's all so crisp and clean. This one originally got away from me, but thankfully I was able to reel 'er back in. So happy to share it with you all. This cover has moved around quite a bit since I let it go. But I'm happy to see it in your wonderful Spidey collection. Patrick has become one of my favorite Spidey artists. I think his style fits the character so well. He can go from doing a really powerful and dramatic cover one minute, to doing a fun and playful cover the next. Congrats on getting this one. Hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Once upon a time not so long ago. There was a little wooden puppet named Spider-man. But alas, this is not his story. This is the story of the important but overlooked character, Mysterio. That's me, Spider-Mans enemy. Aren't there things you ever wondered about me, like how I got my head stuck in a fishbowl? Oh wait, I'm getting ahead of myself. It all began in a small town, Hollywood. On the morning, I'd finished making my new special effects for the season.

Outstanding Spidey cover! I'm a big fan of Patrick Scherberger and this is one of his best covers from that title! Congrats!

Definitely jealous of this one, Paul. Just a perfect Mysterio cover. Love how he's pulling the strings, er...webs, there and the detailing on his hands is just so good. Big congrats on reeling this back in - not hard to see why you tried!
