DescriptionA really fun cover by one of my favorite Spidey artists, Patrick Scherberger, with Spidey tearing off one costume to reveal ... another one??Marvel Adventures Spider-Man was a light-hearted, more kid-friendly telling of Spidey stories. Apparently, the Peter Parker/Spider-Man in this series is from Earth-20051. I didn't know that until I googled "Agent Nine, Marvel, Spider-Man." Anyway, this Peter Parker had another costumed identity called "Agent Nine." I read some of the issues, and I think he would don this other costume when things got too hairy for him as Spider-Man. This issue is his first appearance in that costume. And in this issue, Spidey teams up with Wolverine to tackle the Vulture! Social/Sharing |

Patrick is one of my favorite Spidey artists. Love the homage to Clark Kent's Supes reveal. And of course lots of Patrick's trademark gorgeous backgrounds. Fantastic cover buddy!

Patrick, is one of those Spidey artists, in a long line of talented folks who really knows how to bring fun to the character! Love the water tower too!

Very nice cover! Tho I don't think this is one alias/costume of Spidey that's gonna appear in the MCU haha

A touch of old and new on the cover with a new identity emerging from the old just like the n building towering over the old structures with the water tower. Scherberger's lean and sharp style is used to evoke the shifty quickness of a spry and youthful spidey without the bulky mass.

I'm not surprised that Scherberger is one of your favorite Spidey artists, as I always thought he came fro mthe Humberto Ramos school of art. I have to say, I always enjoyed his art myself, which is kind of surprising given that I was not a Ramos fan for the longest time, as you know. Either way, a very nicely drawn cover, especially with the great, full background!

Love the detailing throughout. Always thought Scherberger did a great Spidey! And it's so clearly HIS take - no doubt it's a Scherberger Spidey when you see it. Congrats, Paul!
