DescriptionA nice Conan page drawn solely by the great Alfredo Alcala. The ambiance really harkens back to Alcala's Voltar."I somehow felt that the minute you let someone else have a hand in your work no matter what, it's not you anymore. Its like riding a bicycle built for two." - Alfredo Alcala Social/Sharing |

Great page! Sign me up for straight Alcala artwork.... I love it! The backgrounds are definitely items that he enjoys drawing and he does it with such distinctive style. Enjoy!

Congrats! Almost went after this one myself. Everything about this screams "Alcala" - look at all that detail!! No offense to JB, but Alcala certainly didn's need JB's pencils to do kickass work on SSOC. In fcat, I think AA's work on Voltar is just as good as, if not better than, his insane SSOC work.

Thank you Steve! Yes I agree - a piece done solely by Alcala is instantaneously distinguishable with his unique and beautiful style. It fits the the fictional world of Conan to perfection.

A step into masterpiece level art once more in the Savage Sword title with this piece! Strip away the comic book captions and poi them on the side, this becomes timeless illustration art.

Great piece! I was very interested in this one as well. I also love the quote by Alcala. I agree, however, sometimes the tandom bike looks better...not always, but sometimes.
