Great retro 60's styled splash! All the proportions within the frame of the splash are extra sized to be extra compelling. Very bold in the Mighty Marvel Manner!

This is towards the end of the great Frenz run on Thor. When the Thunderstrike storyline started, art styles throughout the industry were heavily influenced by the Image style. So Joe's superb brush lines were considered old school. Even Breeding's brief run in earlier issues was an out dated style. I vehemently disagreed at the time, and still do to this day. The Image run in the 90s really hurt comics long term, as can be seen from the dearth of graphic novel sales from that period.
So treasure this piece in your collection. It's a timeless gem.
