DescriptionNeena Thurman, aka DOMINO, kind of first appeared in NEW MUTANTS #98, but it was really a character known as Copycat posing as her. Her real first cameo appearance (in a flashback) was in X-Force #8 (1992) and first full appearance in X-Force #11 (1992), created by Fabian Nicieza and Rob Liefeld. She has the mutant ability to subconsciously manipulate probability to her favor, which she uses in fighting, investigating and whatever life throws at her.Domino had a really traumatic storyline in the X-Force series (2020 - 2024) where she was kidnapped and had her skin and organs flayed and used to enhance other created mercenaries. My splash page from X-Force #2 highlights what happened and showcases some of the horrific things done to her. It was the art that drew me to connect with Josh Cassara. She went through a lot of drama and carried a lot of pain shared with Colossus through the series and was one of my favorite character arcs for her (Benjamin Percy). She’s not a top 10 favorite character, but someone’s journey that I have often enjoyed. Adding her representative Hembeck sketch card was an easy decision. Some of the iconic imagery when thinking of Domino include black and white hair, matched with porcelain white skin and a black skin patch around left eye. Hembeck has nailed her look and glad to add this addition to my collection. Social/Sharing |

cool one! Domino is a great character fit for Fred's black and white series of sketch cards.
