Interior book illustration by Terry Oakes. Love the stipple technique. 11x17 with an image for 7.5x11. The story was published in a collection of stories and poems titled "Gangsters, Ghosts, & Dragonflies" by Brian Patten - 1981.

Great effect with the hidden horror just underneath the surface! A reverse of the Jaws poster.

Striking in th extreme. How about some size information? I'd imagine this is on the smaller side, as the stipple technique would be a lot of work on a bigger piece.
