Description

This is the first appearance of Jane Foster as Thor in continuity.

(The same image was also teased on the previous page of the book)

Really loved the main Jane Foster run. I only came to it as it was ending - as I dropped out of reading comics for a few years while living abroad - but that meant I got to read it all in a few days when I finally got around to it, and it was great. So extremely happy to have this piece.

I also stumbled across one of the underlying images - the Mangog - so I made a partial reconstruction of this splash - if any of the other pieces turn up, I'll add them! (It may be that they are repurposed images from elsewhere in the run, but if so, I haven't been able to identify them)

(Also used as a patch in Secret Wars #1)
