DescriptionThis smell...I remember it.It is always a good day when new DWJ art arrives, and I feel very lucky to have gotten a page from Beta Ray Bill. This gut wrenching page was actually on my list at the drop, so I am absolutely thrilled to add this to my collection. This and the page that follows in Issue #4 are both perfect examples of how DWJ does such an incredible job at capturing emotion, and he does it through body horror with this one. Many brutal aspects to this page, but the skin hooks and that bottom left face tear panel really seal the deal. Also large amounts of ink on this page which I absolutely love. Definitely my most inky DWJ page so far. Thanks as always to Felix and Daniel Warren Johnson for the opportunity on this one! Social/Sharing |

You don't get it boy... this isn't a mudhole... its an operating table.
And I'm the surgeon.

Hard hitting page! The body horror is terrific and DWJ knows how to tell a story

Powerful splash page from DWJ's Beta Ray Bill. This page, where Bill revisits the operation that turned him into Beta Ray Bill, is incredibly moving. There's something about actually being in the operating room witnessing the operation he went through to save his people that's so sad and yet so touching. Congratulations on picking up an important page from a great book.
