Description“And she's buying a stairway to wrestling”Safe to say that I am extremely pleased to get my first DWJDPS, and it is as grand as I would have imagined. Daniel has done a wonderful job of creating an otherworldly setting here. This DPS serves as the first official look at the Barren Bastion, the place where it's all goes down! We also get a proper introduction to the master of ceremonies, Willard Necroton as he leads Lona to make an offer too good to refuse. Daniel has yet again succeeded in creating an environment that has such a unique and original feel to it. The overall scale of the ring atop the mountain works so well as it really appears far away. The rocky structures and crevasses help achieve that effect. The spiked architecture of the ring is a nice touch as well, but it's really those two belts dangling on the top rope that set this piece off. The prize is at the top of that mountain and it's in the form of the Death Lyfe Pro Wrestling championship. Sincere thanks to Felix, Yams, and Daniel Warren Johnson! Congrats, Tyler. Great DPS that shows the importance of environment and setting in Do A Powerbomb! Rich in ominous detail. This is a piece that really rewards repeated viewing.

Really nice double page splash. I love the brush work in the larger black areas in particular. Kudos!

All the world-building of the tournament's setting you could ever want, all in a single DPS. If you only had one image from the series, this would be a great one.

I can't imagine the Faustian bargain you had to enter into in order to score this at the drop but I know it was absolutely worth it!! Congrats on adding such an incredible piece to your collection! Felix should absolutely make DWJDPS wristbands to replace the masks he used to send out 😄

Chris, really couldn't be said any better. It's exactly what happened at the drop, and in the end completely worth it. Thank you, and if we put some pressure on Felix those pups could be a reality!
