DescriptionI recently rescanned this Mahfood wall power sized interior along with some other large pieces and figured it deserves a proper repost. How many published Marvel pages are actually 18"x24"?This was one of the first pages I got from Jim, and it serves as a prime example of why I love his style. I'm a huge Spidey fan, and his approach on this page and the rest of the story is fantastic. The last panel is an absolute banger! Hard to believe that this was published in 2010, but also serves as testament to just how talented and versatile of an artist that Jim is. Well safe to say, nearly 15 years later he is still killing it. 🙌 Big thanks to FoodOne for this beauty! Sincerely appreciated. On 18"x24" art board Social/Sharing |

It's wild! It's out there! It's everything non mainstream, brought into Spider-Man because of Mahfood's radical vision overriding conventional thinking about what Spidey is expected to look like.

this is so cool! didn't know you had this so I for one appreciate the re-post / fresh upload with proper scan. its super interesting to see Mahfood take on a mainstream character/title but in his own way - love it!

I don't think I knew that Jim worked on Web at all! Love the page, top to bottom, man, and the closer is that bottom row - the transition the left panel to the sound effect lettering to that classic (but with Mahfood twist) Spidey web slingin' shot! And big at 18x24! Congrats, man!

Jim cannot be contained by 11x17. Explosive storytelling all around but I particularly love that last panel. Excellent!

I bet this looks even cooler in person being oversized. Love the energy Mahfood brings to each panel.

This high resolution scan really highlights all of the wonderful detail. The biggest problem was that the page is just so large! It took four people, one on each corner just to get the thing onto the scanner. It's on such heavy board and that webbing on the bottom right corner extends all the way to the edge. That corner was heavier than the others! Don't know how Marvel ended up publishing something this large.
