Description

�� Artist, animator, and filmmaker Eliza Ivanova was set up at San Jose Comic Con in August. When I first met her in South San Francisco in 2017, she drew this Chinese cheongsam illustration at the con. I have her books Art of Eliza Ivanova and her two volumes of the Raw Material sketchbook since then. This time, I asked for a Hayao Miyazaki character commission. I opened the tube after the federal holiday and am thrilled with this delightful drawing.

Really nice how the frame is interrupted and bitten into like the thin illusion that it is meant to be.
