Description

Powers of X #1 variant cover by Mike Huddleston. I was late to the HoX/PoX stories and read them as trades. Was super bummed that the interiors were all digital, so sought out cover art. When I discovered the Huddleston group of covers I went on a mission to find some. Was told they sold as part of a sale benefitting the Hero Initiative and not available. Low and behold during Comic Art Live one popped up! Can't wait to frame it up. Large art too: the board is 21" x 14.5" and the art area is 12" x 18".

Nice nab! Huddleston physical artwork! They probably originally sold them too soon as the impact of Hickman's stories really comes into focus towards the end of their arcs.

I really love these covers by Huddleston for this series. I regret not bidding on them at the time of the auctions. Really beautiful work on each one. Congrats on adding this one to your great collection!

Agree! They all are really great, difficult to pick a favorite. I got super lucky this popped up as it's certainly up there as one of my favorites. The other being his HoX #1 with Cyclops and some Sentinels! Classic X-Men to me.

Gorgeous cover, loved this one so much when it came out, congrats on this amazing find! This cover is intense, high action and beautifully designed.
