DescriptionDay 15: Wrapping up this year’s Art-vent Calendar with two fantastic examples of one of the most amazing foundations of the Comic Art Fans experience: the kindness and generosity of the collectors / artists in the OA community. This awesome, fun piece is right in keeping with the darkly humorous / horror stylings of the mighty Dr. Fantastic. This is a beautifully hand-colored print, with a cool mesh of organic and techno-textures (not to mention the title of the piece) to give the viewer a creepy little giggle. The added Krackle and dust clouds round out the whole thing with a bang. I want to give a VERY sincere thank you not only to this terrific collector, but to the entire CAF community for making this a place of sharing, whether through posting art, spreading knowledge, giving laughter, or gifting comments. And thank you, Bill, for engendering such an environment. That wraps up the Art-vent Calendar for this year. Thank you ALL for taking a look and commenting over the course of the last couple weeks. Have a VERY happy rest of your holidays and 2022, everyone! Social/Sharing |

I do love the melding of techno and organic features, and the greens really pop. Yeah it's a bit creepy, but totally fun. Thanks for sharing all these Art-vent pieces. I too am so happy and grateful that we have such a wonderful community on CAF to share our artwork. Merry Christmas!

Ribborg??? So this ISN'T Ethan Van Sciver's Cyberfrog? Either way, I'm sure we'll be seeing him in a Marvel movie soon. Get ready to cash in and retire, Jason!

Hey, come on, come along take a ride
There's a froggy over there, that ain't no jive
It's live, live, it's art-vent day live
Don't even have to walk, the Ribborg has to drive
Just slide, glide, slippity-lines
Don't forget about your colors and your dots and eyes
And just grail on (That's green to you), just grail on
Now tire groove's so funky, hey, what to you think
What is it called, let's call it pen and ink
Come along and drive on Doc Fantastic voyage
