Description

By way of an old reduced copy, here is the cover Mark Bagley and I did for the Spidey MARVEL TRY-OUT story. Supposedly the whole story was going to be printed, but I tread online that it never was. I see I was still using my drybrush technique too much (Kurt Busiek and James Fry cured me of it).

We did some other pages and when they wanted someone to ink the rest of the TRY-OUT BOOK pages (I had turned in extras when I entered) I was too busy with my monthly gig. Wish copy machines were better in '86. Definitely has lost detail and could be crisper.

I don't know if Mark has a better image saved.
