DescriptionI loved Gary Frank's work on the Hulk and was delighted to get this great card art from that period. This is the art for cards #190 and 198 from the Fleer Marvel Universe Series 5 card set from 1994.The art is drawn side-by-side on a 9" x 12" piece of art board. The left side features the intelligent Hulk in his Pantheon-era outfit, while the right side features villain Trauma, who appeared in Hulk #394 and 413-416 (The Troyjan War). Social/Sharing |

That's an iconic Hulk image by Frank! Is that the only place it's been used? It's so very familiar so I wonder if it was used more, or a variation on it.

As far as I know it was just used for the card art, but if anyone is aware of any other place it was used, please let me know.

Umistakable signature style of Gary Frank! His early Marvel US work made such a strong impression in the marketplace.

Fantastic. While less bombastic, I always found that Garry's run equalled Keown's. The acting and emotions of his characters was already perfect.

This is awesome, great pickup! Agreed, Gary Frank's 90s Hulk run was fantastic!
