DescriptionEveryone knows Joe Quesada saved Marvel when they let him do the Marvel Knights line… Marvel was teetering the boom of the 90s was long gone… and it was dark days. But Joe had an idea.. and it was pretty simple take some under appreciated characters and make some great stories! That Daredevil series was amazing.. as were most of the other titles he put together (not Angel Punisher , not everything was perfect lol) . For me I was nearing the end of my comic collecting before Joe brought us back from the edge! Well I’ve been looking for a nice example of his from that time and even though it isn’t the Daredevil proper… I’m SO happy to have this cover from the Team Book Marvel Knights featuring large Quesada images of the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen himself and Moon Knight! I wanted to scratch the Quesada itch and this does it nearly perfectly! Big thank you to the Snyder man himself for working a trade out with me!Social/Sharing |

What an amazing pickup! Joe Q and Danny Miki did some incredible work across the different Marvel Knights comics, and this is a perfect example, with a stunning Daredevil figure that's just as good as some of the Daredevil covers that they did togeher. While I am incredibly jealous of you for picking up this beauty, I know you really wanted this one, so a huge congrats for adding this to your collection!!!

I call this one The D'Ambrosio! Explosive cover from the era to light the way for Marvel to wander out of the wilderness of bankruptcy. History will show Marvel Knights sparked Marvel's and the whole industry's resurgence!

amazing cover Jason - congrats!!! That time period was especially memorable, between Marvel Knights and the launch of the Ultimate Comics line the same year this issue was out - Marvel was reinvigorated by Joe Q's editorial vision that led the way AND he was making some incredible art

Absolutely phenomenal Marvel Knights cover by Quesada and Miki! How cool to have both Daredevil and Moon Knight on the same cover! Those two characters especially benefited so much during Quesada's Marvel Knights period. This cover, of course, is classic Quesada, who is always looking for new angles and new perspectives to portray his heros. I love the upshot angle on Daredevil, looking up at him the way one looks up at a hero. I love the extra prominence he gave DD's horns, emphasizing the "Devil" in Daredevil. Classic inks from Danny Miki too! Il love the thick black inks Miki uses, which have become such a classic look for the Marvel Kinght characters. Stunning pick-up, Jason, congrats!

Oh, dude. LOVE this. So clearly Joey Q when looking at it, and with the Miki inks?! Come on, man. Love the big chest emblems on both, use of shadow, and how he incorporated the billy club line and cape into the overall design. Great example from that era, and for many us, where we first think of Joey Q. Big congrats!
