Description

So Larry blue line copied the cover inks. Then created an acetate overlay of the inks. And colored over the blue line. Then the cover was printed directly from the colors & acetate. But the finished inks do exist on separate board. Print technology let 80s comics like Batman Year One and Dark Knight, use this method to print directly from the color. So it’s a painted cover (not a color guide)
