DescriptionChris Ivy has done a number of pieces for me, so when I was closing out 2021, I thought he would be the perfect choice to complete my last piece of the year. While I mentioned the possibility of Chris taking on my newest take on this theme (having two characters battle for the throne), he was immediately on the same wavelength with me when I mentioned a classic Watcher throne piece. I had sketched out my idea for this piece and Chris improved upon it tenfold. Not only is Uatu checking in on timelines featuring some of my previous throne pieces (The Thing, Longshot vs Spiral, Rhino, Black Widow, Tony Stark, Sy’m and the Goblin Queen) but he’s also looking into other possible timelines and potential future pieces featuring the Human Torch, Captain Carter, Zombie Captain America and Adam Warlock! For me, this could be a Top 5 of ALL your throne pieces. Maybe even Top 3. Such a great idea to have all those timeline scenes. And Chris really nailed it. Love everything about this piece. Can't imagine a better way to close 2021 and great 2022. Congrats buddy!

A great piece with a "What If?" flavor to it! If Bran can sit on the Iron Throne, Why Not Utau?

Wow!!! I can't say that I see The Watcher commissions being done often. And The Watcher I'd see as a mysterious pose but this he looks powerful. I love it.

That's great! Gotta love the Watcher's expression, and the hand being out. And all of those little panels - did he hand draw all of what's going on in them?! If so, that's nuts! Congrats on a worthy add to the IT collection!
