Marilyn Portrayed as only Zu can Twice over in this Stunning Mixed Media Cover Quality Commission! Last year I commissioned a Marilyn Monroe mixed media cover quality piece from popular cover artist from Singapore, Zu Orzu (known for her variant covers for Something Is Killing The Children and her variant cover artwork on the DC series "Cover" by Brian Michael Bendis and David Mack (which has just been greenlit for an animated series on HBO Max written by Bendis and directed by Mack), through Kirby's Comic Art (shoutout to Annabel Jane Kirby!) I recently got the piece in hand and I can say that I 100% absolutely adore this piece, and I am very happy with how it turned out. Very light colorful and beautiful. It showcases Marilyn in a magnificent way. Thank you Zu and Annabel Kirby!

This is nothing short of exquisite! Especially the headshot. I just LOVE that look with her eyes closed and head tilted back. It's just SO MARILYN. I would have been ecstatic if that face was the only thing on the board, but you get TWO great shots of this iconic legend here. Congrats on making this MM fan jealous. Wow, wow, wow!

Absolutely captivating! The dual images of Marilyn are beautiful and stunning and the contrast and choice of background imagery and tones are phenominal and surreal. For me the choice of the black space galaxy-like area evokes the feeling that this planet just couldn't contain her ... although from before my time for sure, that's culturally what I've accepted of her... larger than this life could contain. Thanks so much for sharing this work of art with us.
