Description

A very early Harley Quinn (6th appearance?) page has her trying to get Robin to drink an antidote to counter the spell Poison Ivy put him under to help them commit crimes. Harley is feeling a little left out of the Robin-Ivy dynamic.

Just love the characterization on the page with Robin and Harley, her expressions are so emphatic and the dialogue by Ty Templeton from a Paul Dini story is pure, classic Harley.

Page is all Rick Burchett and although his own art style is very different, he does a wonderful job emulating the BTAS-Timm aesthetic.

This is beautiful Harley and it is years ahead of when she was integrated into the main DC Universe. We get some pure joy and wackiness of the BTAS version where Burchett can stretch her expressions in cartoony ways.

What a terrific page from Batman and Robin Adventures! Rick Burchett does an amazing job of carrying on the Bruce Timm esthetic and keeping the storyline light and amusing. It's funny watching Harley trying to get Robin to drink the antidote to Poison Ivy's spell! Congrats on a great pick-up!
