Description

Batman battles some gun-toting gangsters on a airplane in this Irv Novick/Dick Giordano panel page from Batman #219 (1970), an issue that came just a few months into the transition of Batman back to the "Creature of the Night" he was in his earliest appearances. Novick was the primary artist on Batman during this period, always producing high quality work. Novick's work looked especially good when inked by Giordano, one of top inkers of the era.

Thanks a lot Reggie. Novick Giordano team is one of my favorites from all artist-inker teams on Batman. I think I have some 30+ pages by Giordano now!! :D
