One of my favourite pieces by Joe Rubinstein. He had it up on his CAF Gallery since 2008 and I commented on how nice it was at the time. I was fortunate to be able to be the purchaser of this when Joe put it up on eBay in December 2012. It arrived here about a month later.

8" X 11" portrait in charcoals and chalk in excellent condition by Joszef Rubinstein.On thick acid free buff paper. Mr Rubinstein most recently exhibited at The Art Students League of NYC.He has work in private collections and public institutions including The Library of Alexandra (Egypt) and The Players Club of Gramercy Park. October 2012 the Art Students League of New York brought together the work of 60 prominent alumni in the exhibition Celebrating the Line: Outstanding Illustrators, Designers and Cartoonists of The Art Students League of New York.The League is well known as a training ground of many of America�s greatest painters and sculptors. But alumni have also made their marks in popular culture through movie posters, logos, book and magazine illustration, cartoons, fashion, stained glass, caricatures, animation, set design, and even typefaces.
