Description

A request of the Fillbach Brothers. It is a recreation, with slight modification, of a splash page which appeared in their series Broken Heroes. The original page was black and white, so the eye popping difference is the watercolor work they added. The scan does not do the colors justice. They titled the recreation "In My Own Mind", a nod to the song by Lyle Lovett.

I just saw Matt and Shawn today at Amazing Vegas Con, after a number of years where our paths have not crossed. Some of their works came to me at some crucial times in my life. This one in particular was very healing at a point when I needed it. Comics can be magic.

Love this! Crazy cool image of a biker frog drinking a beer and being swarmed by butterflies! Fun piece by the Fillbach Brothers. Awesome.
